The Belgian flag carrier Brussels Airlines was founded in year 2006 when SN Brussels Airlines being the largest carrier in Belgium and Virgin Express as a low-cost carrier merged. The airline operates flights to 65 destinations in 20 countries in Europe, and long-distance flights to Africa. Main partners of the company are LOT Polish Airlines, British Airways, Malev Hungarian Airlines, Cyprus Airways, Alitalia, Swiss, and others. The airline fleet includes fifty airplanes of the type Airbus, Boeing, Avro and BAE.

According to the requirements of Brussels Airlines, the Economy Class passengers are allowed to carry one piece of hand baggage up to 10 kg measuring 55 x 40 x 20 cm, while those in Business Class are entitled to two pieces of luggage of 10 kg and 8 kg with dimensions 55 x 40 x 20 cm and 45 x 35 x 20 cm. The Economy Class passengers can carry luggage up to 23 kg, while those from Business Class up to 30 kg.
