Aberdeen

Aberdeen Airport (IATA code ABZ) is a mid-size international airport placed some nine kilometers outside the center of Aberdeen city and is ranked the fifteenth busiest UK airport. The Aberdeen Airport comes with one main terminal for passengers, which serves scheduled and charter flights, six low-cost carriers plus three other terminals for the North Sea helicopter flights. The Aberdeen Airport is reached by train, local and express busses, private cars and taxi. The terminal of the Aberdeen Airport offers various eating and shopping options, plus duty free stores, games area, internet access, car hire, tourist information service, etc.   Currently, there is a project concerning the airport, which aims to extend the runway, to construct a bigger and modern terminal and to expand the aircraft parking stands.
