Esenboga International Airport (IATA code ESB) is the Ankara Airport placed less than thirty kilometers outside the center of the capital of Turkey. The airport is reached by the Havas shuttle buses, city buses and by the local taxis and trip lasts for approximately 40 minutes. Esenboga International Airport has two terminals, with the new domestic and international flights terminal being opened at the end of year 2006 and comes with many passenger facilities including a huge parking zone. The airport is equipped with several restaurants and a café, duty-free shops and several car-hire companies. A curious fact about the Esenboga International Airport is that it has been designated as one of the landing sites in case of emergency for the Space Shuttle of NASA.
