Papeete International Airport (IATA code PPT) is officially named Tahiti Faa’a International Airport. It is situated a coral reef off the shore, on the Faa’a municipality on the Thaiti island in French Polynesia and is 5 km from the center of Papeete town in southwestern direction. This is the only airport in French Polynesia that serves international flights. The airport has one runway only. It is here that the main office of Air Tahiti is located.
