Bulgaria's national carrier Bulgaria Air is based in Sofia and operates flights from Sofia and Varna, covering 100 routes from and to 28 destinations in 19 countries. The main partners of the company are KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Malev, LOT Polish Airlines, Alitalia, Iberia and others. The airline fleet includes 24 airplanes of the types Airbus, ATR, Avro, Bae and Boeing.
