The fourth largest U.S. airline company Continental Airlines with headquarters in Houston has three base airports - Newark Liberty International Airport, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The airline operates flights to over 300 domestic and international destinations in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Pacific. The airline fleet consists of airplanes of the type Boeing with up to 285 seats.

According to the baggage requirements of the airline company Continental Airlines, the passengers may carry up to 18 kg of hand baggage with dimentions up to 56 x 36 x 23 cm, and two pieces of registered luggage with a total weight of up to 23 kg and total volume of up to 157 cm.

Since year 2008 onwards, the airline company Continental Airlines is a member of the airline alliance Star Alliance, after leaving the alliance Sky Team, in search of closer cooperation with the airline company United Airlines. The airline company offers many amenities for its passengers, among which being electronic airline tickets, satellite TV on board, wireless internet, and a loyalty program.
