Meridiana is an Italian low-cost airline company, founded in year 1963, with headquarters in Olbia and bases at the airports Olbia and Florence. The airline operates flights to 40 domestic and international destinations in Europe and Africa, North and South America. The airline fleet consists of 23 airplanes of the type Airbus, ATR and McDonnell Douglas.

When the baggage requirements of Meridiana airline are concerned, the passengers are entitled to one piece of hand baggage up to 8 kg with dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm. The restrictions for the registered luggage on the international flights are up to 20 kg for the Economy Class passengers and up to 30 kg for the Business Class passengers.

The airline offers passengers a frequent-flyer program, and two classes of accommodation - Economy and Business Class. During the domestic flights and the medium distance flights only Economy Class accommodation is available.
