Approximately 4 kms from the city in the southeastern direction, is located the Dubai International Airport (IATA code DXB). It is the largest airport in the United Arab Emirates and offers three large passenger terminals, two cargo terminals, a large exhibition center, maintenance and aviation equipment center and other. In addition to the three passenger terminals, the airport has a VIP terminal, which is used by popular individuals and large corporations. The airport has a spacious parking zone, Customs office and Immigration Service Center, regular shops and a duty-free shopping area, eight private waiting halls, numerous restaurants and cafes, business centers and a conference room. The Dubai International Airport can be reached by car and taxi, as well as by several bus lines and two subway lines.
