Located approximately 10 kms from the center of Prague in the western direction, is to be found the International Airport "Ruzyně" (IATA code PRG). It is the largest airport in the Czech Republic and is among the busiest in Europe. It is also a main base of the Czech airline company "Czech Airlines". The airport has three runways and three sites for helicopters, as well as four terminals - two passengers and two common terminals. Terminal 1 covers the flights outside the Schengen Area, Terminal 2 is serving the flights in the Schengen Area, Terminal 3 is for the charter and private flights, while Terminal 4 is for the state visits and other VIP flights. The airport could be reached by car, taxi, bus and metro.
