Sydney International Airport (IATA code SYD), also known as Kingsford-Smith Airport, is the only airport of Sydney and the main hub for Qantas. In addition to that, the airport is the busiest airport in Australia and is among the oldest continually operated airports on the globe. Sydney airport is located in Mascot suburb, next to Botany Bay and approximately nine kilometers south of Sydney. It has three runways and three passenger terminals and is handling around 36 million passengers a year, offering connection to all states of Australia through forty-seven domestic flight directions. Since the international terminal is separated from the domestic terminals, the passengers that need to make a connection should arrange longer transfer times and have to be aware that there is a shuttle bus service and an underground airport link between the terminals. The onsite facilities in Sydney Airport include conference and business facilities and facilities for disabled passengers. Further are available ATM machines, paid wireless internet, many restaurants and cafes, plus more than 150 service and retail outlets.
