Venice

Approximately eight kilometers north of the Italian city of Venice is to be found the International Airport "Marco Polo" (IATA code for VCE). The airport ranks fourth in passenger traffic in the country, serving many regular and chartered flights, including a number of transatlantic flights to Canada and the United States. The infrastructure of the airport includes two runways and one terminal on three floors, each floor having a specific purpose. Available to the passengers at the terminal building are several shops, restaurants and cafes, banks and post office, ATMs, spa salon, a chapel. The International Airport "Marco Polo" can be reached by taxi and bus lines that leave from both railway stations in Santa Lucia and Mestre.
