Approximately 10 kms from Warsaw is located the International Airport "Frederic Chopin" (IATA code WAW), which is the busiest airport in Poland. It handles half of the entire traffic of passengers and serves over 100 domestic and international flights a day. The airport has two runways and two terminals. Terminal 1 serves mainly the low-cost airlines and some air companies that are members of the alliance "SkyTeam", while Terminal 2 is working with the airlines from the alliances "Star Alliance" and "OneWorld", and some other airlines. The International Airport "Frederic Chopin" can be reached by bus, car or taxi.
