Salzburg

Only 2 kms from the border between Austria and Germany, and 4 kms from the city center of Salzburg in  southwestern direction, is to be found the International Airport "W.A. Mozart" (IATA code SZG). The airport is the main base to reach several ski resorts, and the unique and largest network of ski resorts in Europe. It has one runway and two terminals, where the second terminal is open for winter charter flights and operate on Saturdays only. The International Airport "W.A. Mozart" has a huge parking zone, a few stores, a duty-free zone, restaurants, bars and cafes. The airport can be reached by car or bus, and by train from the Salzburg railway station.
