The national airline company of South Korea Korean Air has its headquarters in Seoul and a base at the Incheon International Airport. The airline operates flights to 130 destinations in Europe and Asia, the South and North America, Africa and Oceania, and due to the flow of passengers it is among the twenty largest airlines in the world. The airline fleet consists of airplanes of the type Boeing, Airbus and Cessna Citation.
The airline requirements for the baggage are as follows: the Economy Class passengers are entitled to one piece of hand baggage up to 12 kg, while the passengers from the Business and First Class are entitled to two pieces of hand baggage up to 18 kg. The dimensions must not exceed 55 x 40 x 20 cm. The registered luggage restrictions during the domestic flights is 20 kg luggage for passengers in the Economy Class, 30 kg of luggage for the passengers in the Business Class and 40 kg luggage for the passengers in First Class. When the flights to Canada and the U.S. are concerned, the limit is for two pieces of registered luggage up to 23 kg for each passenger in the Economy Class and two pieces of registered luggage up to 32 kg for the passengers in the Business and in the First Class.
The airline company Korean Air offers four types of accommodation in First Class, three types of accommodation in Business Class and two types of accommodation in the Economy Class with many privileges and facilities according to the class. Furthermore the airline offers a loyalty program, coupled with the collection of miles and many bonuses.
