The third largest airport in Germany is Düsseldorf International Airport (IATA code DUS), which is located about 9 kms from the city center, in the region North Rhine-Westphalia. The airport is a base for the air companies "Air Berlin" and "Lufthansa". It has two runways and six terminals, namely four passenger terminals and two cargo terminals. The Dusseldorf Airport passengers have access to many facilities and services, including restaurants, cafes, bars and shops, a duty-free zone, VIP hall, facilities for mothers with children, a business center. The airport can be reached by car and bus, and with a train from two railway stations. In addition, the airport is also served by its own metro station.
