Toronto International Airport (IATA code YYZ) is officially known as Toronto Pearson International Airport and is serving Toronto and Ontario, as well as the largest metropolitan zone in Canada – Greater Toronto. It also serves as the main airport for the urban zone Golden Horseshoe, which is inhabited by almost one quarter of the population in Canada. Toronto International Airport is placed in Mississauga city, 22 km from the center of Toronto and is the busiest airport in Canada, handling more than 32 million passengers each year. It has facilities for US Border preclearance service service and is hub for Air Canada, Air Canada Express, WestJet, Sunwing Airlines, etc. The airport serves numerous domestic flights to all Canadian provinces and acts as a main gateway to North America covering more than 150 international destinations.
