Yekaterinburg

Approximately 16 kms to the southeast from the city of Yekaterinburg is to be found the International Airport "Koltsovo" (IATA code SVX). It is the fifth largest airport in Russia serving more than 50 destinations worldwide and is a base for the airline companies "Ural Airlines" and "Aviacon Zitotrans". The infrastructure of the airport provides two runways and two terminals - one for the domestic and one for the international flights, with the possibility to handle all types of airplanes. Terminals are new and offer many extras, and in addition, there is also a VIP terminal with comfortable waiting areas, duty-free zone, security service and customs control. The International Airport "Koltsovo" can be reached by regular buses from several cities in the region, and a train from the railway station in Yekaterinburg. More, the airport can be reached by car or taxi using "Novokoltsevaya trassa" road.
